Mini Golf Robot

For my second animation class the assignment was to create a robot animation. The first idea that came to mind was a robot that is not very good at mini golf.

Workflow

The core objectives were to model, rig, and animate a fully functional robot, all done inside Maya along with any additional props and environment pieces. For rendering I wanted to use Unreal Engine 5, which meant transferring all the models and animations from Maya into Unreal. It added a few extra steps but was not too difficult to sort out. After one corrupted Unreal file and some choice words later, I got everything working and finished it off with some fitting music.
