About
Nicky Jushchyshyn
Technical artist and developer focused on real-time tools, broadcast graphics, and virtual production. I graduated from Drexel University in September 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Animation and VFX and a Master of Science in Digital Media.
I currently work at HorizonAVL, where I develop course curriculum in Unreal Engine and build software for broadcast graphics and arena-based control systems.
My work sits at the intersection of real-time technology, virtual production, and broadcast. At HorizonAVL, I develop educational curriculum in Unreal Engine aimed at teaching real-world production workflows. Alongside that, I build custom software for broadcast graphics and live event control, all running inside Unreal Engine.
My background in Animation and VFX gives me a strong foundation on the creative side, while my graduate work in Digital Media pushed me further into the technical side of production tools, including DMX lighting systems, ICVFX, and live data integrations. You can find examples of all of that throughout this site.
Photography is something I have gotten more serious about over the past few years. You can find some of my work in the Photography section of this site.
I have also gotten into 3D printing and run an Etsy shop under the name aPrintingKnight where I sell physical prints.
