About
Adding custom graphics to a live broadcast is one of the most effective ways to give it more personality and raise the production value. For Rocket League, a custom scoreboard overlay can replace the default in-game HUD with something that feels unique to the broadcast while also giving viewers more information in a cleaner layout.
This overlay was designed based on the one used in Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) broadcasts on the official Rocket League Twitch. It adds things like player boost levels and team names in a consistent style, and because the design is more intentional, it actually takes up less prime screen real estate than the default, giving viewers a better view of the action.

I also built a post-game stats screen that recaps the game with a better visual breakdown of the match and a summary of all series scores at the bottom showing who won each game.
I have used this overlay on my own broadcasts, and it was also sold and used on a couple of other Twitch channels. I have built other overlays as well, one of which was also picked up for use on another channel.
